MENTORING/DEMO LISTENING SESSIONS
The Dewey Beach Music Conference and Festival Mentoring Sessions offer
unique networking opportunities. All showcase performers and registrants
can sign-up for 20 minute sessions with a select group of music industry
professionals. Meet one-on-one with someone who can help your act
chart a course for success. Get the information and contacts you can
use to advance your career. Your session also includes demo listening
and critique. Artists should submit their best work and be prepared
for some knee-jerk opinions and critiques regarding production, structure,
vocal/lyrical content and musicianship.
MUSIC INDUSTRY MEET & GREET
Designed exclusively for the Dewey Beach Music Conference and Festival,
the industry meet and greets are 60-90 minute sessions in the Booksandcoffee
House. A group of top industry pros will speak on hot topics relevant
to emerging talent and take questions from the group. Informal and
laid back, complete with comfy chairs and fresh brewed coffees, these
sessions give performers and registrants the time and place to get
up close and personal.
