11:00 APEX WATSON (NEWARK, DE)
Apex Watson is a group of musicians who specialize in writing
original songs that bring together
the genres of rock, funk, and improvisation. To
compliment their original songs, they have
learned many cover songs to satisfy those listeners
who wish to sing along occasionally. With
the added bonus of improv, each performance is unique
to that time in space, with the audience
members contributing to the vibe that the musicians
ultimately try and reflect. It is an invigorating
experience for band and listener alike.
12:00 THE KNOBS (WILMINGTON, DE)
The Knobs hail from Wilmington. Their influences (The Beatles,
The Beach Boys) are heard clearly in their melodic pop songs,
drawing comparisons to The Pixies and The Kinks. Their third
album Break Up and Die will follow 1999's critically-acclaimed
Guilt.
